Three other teens also went missing that night, but while the bodies of Monika and Daniel turned up not long after the alarm was sounded, Pawel's sister Kamilla and his friend Artur had never been found, and the case fell dormant.
But when the police question an adult Pawel about a newly discovered body, his determination to learn the truth and potentially find his sister is renewed.
The Woods takes its sweet time in revealing what really happened that fateful night, but we do eventually get an answer.
It all began with Wojtek, the older camp chaperone, who decided to meddle in the love lives of the campers he was supposed to be looking after.
One day, he asked Kamilla and Artur to follow him, and he led them to a cabin where Monika and Daniel, who they were romantically involved with, were hooking up.
The five of them went down to the lake one night and Wojtek encouraged them to fling off their clothes and go for a swim.
But while Monika and Daniel were in the water, the rest of them stole their clothes and told them to head back to camp naked. Monika, however, refused to be humiliated and used the opportunity to insult Kamilla, and that's when their glorious summer came to a very abrupt and bloody end.
Kamilla launched herself at Monika, grabbed her neck and squeezed as hard as she could. HBO's 'Allen v. Farrow' to Examine Woody Allen Assault Claims.

Written by Anonymous. I don't normally write here. In fact, I don't even master English writing. Therefore, I apologize for any serious mistake.
But I felt the need to warn you of what is to come by watching this show. If you like mystery, you may even like the series to some extent.
It's the type that holds you in front of the TV, that makes you want to go through episode by episode without stopping for a glass of water.
The problem is the holes in the script and the lack of explanations for the events, especially in the final half, when some facts are throw on screen without any basis just to justify later situations.
The characters' inexplicable attitudes are frequent and their respective developments are more like patchwork quilts. All of this leads to an ending that leaves more questions than answers.
Europe has been producing interesting shows lately. But this is not one of them, although it is far from a horrible show. It is watchable.
For those looking for a dose of mystery, it is a good choice. However, those looking for script quality, plausible development and a good pace next to the mystery, stay away.
